Jaclyn Alderete is a San Francisco Bay Area artist, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her kinetic paintings explore the human condition along with social and environmental concerns. The ghostly work often exhibits an innocence engulfed by the world around it. Her key figures quietly move with ease and fluidity throughout Jaclyn’s paintings giving us a glimpse of who they are or would like to be. Even though there is no clearly defined linework within Jaclyn’s work, there is certainly clarity in emotion and intent. Her work dances around classic Impressionism while complementing contemporary influences.
Jaclyn has exhibited in various galleries such as Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado and the quaint and noteworthy Flower Pepper Gallery in Pasadena, California. Her most recent contributions have been to the Modern Eden Gallery’s “Golden” show and Marcas Contemporary Art’s “Adrift” exhibition.
